Overview
If you cannot find your nationality or country in the list when applying for a UAE eVisa, do not worry. Country lists can use different names (e.g. “United Kingdom” vs “UK”). Try a few variants, use our Check Requirement page, or contact us and we can advise whether you are eligible and how to proceed.
Check Requirement Page First
Our Check Requirement page lets you select your country to see UAE eVisa requirements and typical fees for your nationality. If your country appears there, use the same country name when you apply (e.g. as shown in the dropdown on the application form). Sometimes the application list uses the full official name (e.g. “United States of America”) while we say “United States” elsewhere; try both if one does not appear.
Country Names and Spelling
- Spelling – Country names may be spelled or ordered differently (e.g. “Republic of Korea” vs “South Korea”, “United Kingdom” vs “UK”). Scroll the list or type to search if the form allows it.
- Territories – Some territories or special status countries may be under a different label. Try the main country name if you hold that passport.
- Dual nationality – Use the passport you will use to enter the UAE. Select that passport’s country in the list.
If you are sure your country is eligible for a UAE eVisa but still cannot find it, contact us with your passport country and we will guide you.
Contact Us
If your nationality is not listed when you try to apply:
- Contact us – Use our Contact page or the contact details on our website.
- Tell us your passport country – So we can check eligibility and whether we can process your application.
- We will advise – We will tell you if you can apply through us, if you need to apply through another channel (e.g. embassy), or if there is a different way to select your country on the form.
Do not assume you are ineligible just because the name is hard to find. Some countries are listed under their full official name.
Eligibility Set by the UAE
Eligibility for a UAE eVisa is set by the UAE authorities, not by us. We can only assist with nationalities that the UAE allows to apply for an eVisa online. If your country is not in our list, it may mean:
- Your country is listed under a different name (try Check Requirement or contact us), or
- The UAE may require applicants from your country to apply through an embassy or another channel. In that case we will tell you and, where possible, point you to the right next step.
Frequently Asked Questions
I have a British passport. What do I select?
Look for “United Kingdom” or “UK” in the country list. Use the option that matches your passport (e.g. “British citizen” or “United Kingdom”).
My country is not in the dropdown. Can I still apply?
First try Check Requirement and different spellings or names. If it still does not appear, contact us with your passport country. We will confirm whether we can process your application or what you should do instead.
I have dual citizenship. Which country should I choose?
Choose the nationality of the passport you will use to enter the UAE. You must apply and travel on the same passport.
Does “not listed” mean I am not eligible?
Not always. It may mean a different name is used in the list, or that we need to add or map your country. Contact us so we can check.
Where is the full list of countries you support?
The application form and our Check Requirement page reflect the countries we support. If your country is missing, contact us with your passport country name and we will advise.
Can I apply at the UAE embassy instead?
If the UAE requires applicants from your country to apply through an embassy, we will tell you when you contact us. We only process online eVisas for eligible nationalities through our service.
