How Long Is a UAE eVisa Valid? Visa Types and Entry Rules

Overview

We assist with UAE e-Tourist visas in four options: 30 days single entry, 30 days multiple entry, 60 days single entry, and 60 days multiple entry. Each has a different government fee; our service fee is US$ 59.99 per passenger for all. This page explains validity, stay, and how to use your eVisa when you travel.

UAE e-Tourist Visa Types We Offer

30 days multiple entryMultipleWithin 30 daysSeveral short visits in one period
60 days single entryOne entryUp to 60 daysLonger single trip

Government fees vary by visa type and nationality. See our Fees page for amounts. Not all visa types are available for all nationalities (e.g. some countries only have single-entry options).

Validity and Stay

  • Validity – Your eVisa is valid for entry within the period stated in the approval (e.g. from issue date until a certain date). You must enter the UAE before it expires.
  • Stay – Once you enter, you can stay for the number of days allowed by your visa (30 or 60 days, depending on type). Do not overstay; overstaying can lead to fines or future entry issues.
  • Multiple entry – With a multiple-entry visa, you can leave and re-enter within the validity period, but your total stay must still respect the 30- or 60-day limit (as per the visa conditions).

Single vs Multiple Entry

  • Single entry – You may enter the UAE once. If you leave (e.g. to another country), you need a new visa to re-enter.
  • Multiple entry – You may enter and leave more than once within the visa’s validity period, subject to the maximum stay (30 or 60 days total, as applicable).

Choose the type that matches your travel plans. Our Apply and Fees pages show which types are available for your nationality and their cost.

Entering the UAE

  • Passport – Must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of arrival.
  • eVisa – Carry a printed copy of your eVisa together with your passport.
  • Travel documents – You may be asked for return/onward ticket and accommodation; have them available.
  • First entry – You must enter before the eVisa’s validity end date.

Entry is at the discretion of the UAE authorities. Having an approved eVisa does not guarantee entry if you do not meet entry conditions (e.g. valid passport, no overstay, correct purpose of visit).

Your eVisa is sent by email after approval. Print it and carry it with your passport when you travel. Immigration may ask to see both. Keep a digital copy on your phone as backup.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between 30 and 60 days?
30-day visas allow a stay of up to 30 days; 60-day visas allow up to 60 days. The “30 days” or “60 days” multiple-entry option means you can enter and exit multiple times within that stay limit and validity period.

Can I extend my stay?
Extensions are subject to UAE immigration rules. We do not process extensions through the standard eVisa application. If you need to stay longer, check current UAE rules or contact the authorities. We may offer a separate visa extension service; contact us for details.

Do I need to enter on an exact date?
You must enter before your eVisa’s validity expires. The exact date of first entry can be any day within that validity period.

Can I use the eVisa for work?
The e-Tourist visa is for tourism. If you plan to work, you need a different type of visa (e.g. employment visa). We only assist with e-Tourist visas.

What if I leave and want to re-enter on a single-entry visa?
A single-entry visa allows one entry. After you leave, you would need to apply again for a new visa to re-enter.

Where do I see my visa validity and conditions?
The approval email and the printed eVisa document state the validity period, number of entries, and maximum stay. Read them carefully before you travel.
