Overview
Traveling to the UAE with children is straightforward. Every traveler, including infants and minors, must have their own UAE eVisa. There is no age exemption. On our service, children are included as passengers on the same application as their parent(s), and each passenger (adult or child) is charged the applicable government fee plus our service fee.
Do Children Need Their Own UAE eVisa?
Yes. Every person entering the UAE, including newborns and teenagers, must have an individual eVisa. A child cannot be included on a parent’s visa or share one. When you apply with us, you add each child as a separate passenger in the same application (up to 15 passengers total per application).
How We Charge for Children
We charge per passenger. Each traveler—adult or child—is charged:
- Government and admin fee – Set by the UAE authorities for the visa type and nationality (same as for adults for that nationality).
- Our service fee – US$ 59.99 per passenger, including children. We do not charge rush fees.
So for a family of two adults and two children, you pay: (gov fee × 4) + (US$ 59.99 × 4). You can see exact government fees for your nationality on our Fees page or when you Apply.
Children Must Apply With a Parent
Children under 18 must apply on the same application as at least one parent (mother or father). Applications for minors without a parent on the application are not accepted. When you apply:
- Add the parent(s) and child(ren) as passengers in one application.
- If you start with only children, you will be prompted to add a parent before you can continue.
- You can have up to 15 passengers in a single application, so most families can apply together in one go.
Required Documents for Children
For each child, you will need the same type of documents as for an adult, including:
- Passport – Valid for at least 6 months from arrival. Each child must have their own passport.
- Passport-style photo – Recent, clear photo of the child.
- Travel and accommodation – Round-trip ticket and accommodation details (can be part of the family booking).
If a child is traveling with one parent only, some countries or airlines may expect a consent letter from the other parent. We recommend checking your airline’s rules and bringing any consent or custody documents that may be required at check-in or border control.
How to Add Children to Your Application
- On the Apply page, choose Number of Passengers (e.g. 2 adults + 2 children = 4 passengers).
- Fill in trip details and contact information.
- In Step 2: Passenger Information, enter each person’s details—full name, nationality, passport number, date of birth, gender. Include each child as a passenger.
- For each minor, you will be asked to confirm which adult on the application is the accompanying parent (mother or father).
- Pay the total (government fees + US$ 59.99 per passenger for all passengers).
- Upload the required documents for each passenger, including each child.
