Overview
If your UAE eVisa application is rejected, we refund our service fee in full. Government fees are paid to the UAE and are generally non-refundable once submitted. This page summarizes how refunds work and what you can do next.
Our Money-Back Guarantee on Service Fee
Visa rejected? You get your service fee back.
We charge US$ 59.99 per passenger as our service fee. If the UAE authorities reject your eVisa application, we will refund that service fee for the rejected passenger(s). We do not keep the service fee when the visa is denied. Full terms and how to claim are in our Refund Policy.
Government Fees Are Non-Refundable
The government and admin fees (e.g. US$ 160, 260, 210, or 290 per person depending on visa type and nationality) are paid to the UAE immigration system. Once the application is submitted, these fees are typically non-refundable, even if the visa is rejected. We do not control or hold these funds; they are passed to the authorities. So in case of rejection, you get back our service fee only, not the government portion.
Why Applications Are Sometimes Rejected
Rejection is decided by the UAE authorities, not by us. Common reasons can include:
- Passport – Expired, or valid for less than 6 months from arrival
- Documents – Unclear or incomplete (e.g. poor photo, missing or invalid ticket or accommodation)
- Information – Mistakes or mismatches (name, passport number, dates)
- Eligibility – Not meeting the requirements for the visa type or nationality
- Previous immigration history – As assessed by the UAE
We review applications before submission to reduce errors, but the final decision is always with the UAE.
What to Do After a Rejection
- Check the reason – We or the authorities may communicate a reason or request more information. Check the email you used for the application.
- Claim your service fee refund – Follow the instructions in our Refund Policy. We will process the refund of the service fee once the rejection is confirmed.
- Fix issues before reapplying – For example: renew passport if needed, get a clearer photo, correct names and dates, ensure travel and accommodation documents are valid and match your dates.
- Reapply if eligible – You can submit a new application once the issues are fixed. A new application will require new fees (government + service fee again).
Reapplying
You can submit a new application at any time. Each application is separate:
- You will pay the government fee and service fee again for the new application.
- Make sure the reason for the first rejection is addressed (passport validity, documents, accuracy of details).
- If you are unsure why you were rejected, contact us via our Contact page and we can help where possible.
Full Refund Policy
Our full terms—including when the service fee is refunded, when it is not, and how to request a refund—are set out in our Refund Policy. In short:
- Refundable: Our service fee when the visa is rejected; also in cases of our processing error or technical failure, or change of mind before processing starts (as per the policy).
- Non-refundable: Government fees once submitted; our service fee once the visa is approved; and in other cases described in the policy (e.g. incomplete applications, change of mind after processing has started).
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get a full refund if my visa is rejected?
You get a full refund of our service fee (US$ 59.99 per rejected passenger). Government fees are not refunded by us and are typically non-refundable once paid to the UAE.
How do I get my service fee back?
Follow the process in our Refund Policy. We will confirm the rejection and process the refund of the service fee accordingly.
Can I get the government fee back?
Government fees are paid to the UAE. We do not refund them. Any possibility of refund from the authorities would be between you and the UAE; we have no control over that.
Why was I rejected?
The UAE authorities decide. Common reasons include passport validity, document quality, or incorrect information. We can sometimes help clarify if we receive feedback; check your email and contact us if needed.
Can I reapply after rejection?
Yes. Submit a new application with corrected documents and information. You will need to pay the government and service fees again for the new application.
What if only one passenger in my group is rejected?
We refund the service fee only for the rejected passenger(s). Approved passengers keep their eVisas; government fees for approved passengers are not refunded.
